Last week, we organized a technical seminar entitled: “EUROPEAN FOOD SAFETY REQUIREMENTS” at the headquarters of our partner in Morocco, Qualiup, with the participation of Kenza ALOUANE Technical Director of Qualiup laboratories, Youness AALIOUA CEO of Qualiup laboratories, Prof. Dr. Ahmed ZOUAOUI technical expert of the qualiup group, Juan Ramirez CEO of L.A.B. and Fayna Suárez Business Development of L.A.B.
The topics addressed by Juan Ramirez, CEO of the L.A.B. laboratory, a member of the international Tentamus group, were the following:
- Tentamus-QUALIUP and its network of laboratories as a source of information
- Pesticides from the producer’s point of view
- The importance of the consumer
- The consumer’s reaction and its strong pressure on the market
- Secondary market standards: Germany, Austria, France, Netherlands, UK
- Problems related to contamination

We had an intense technical training day during which the participants were able to ask all the questions they wanted.
A great atmosphere of exchange of ideas and knowledge was created and it was a pleasure to spend a morning talking in detail about food safety.
In the future, we will organise this type of technical conference again to help Moroccan producers gain first-hand knowledge of the legal framework and the different requirements of European, British and American customers.
