LAB (Laboratorio Analitico Bioclinico SL), member of Tentamus Group seeks expressions of interests from potential postdoctoral researchers wishing to apply for Marie Sklodowska Individual European Fellowships. Selected candidates will receive dedicated support from our Directors and Research Manager to develop their proposal and application for submission to the European Commission on 14 September 2017.

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships supports mobility, training, career development activities within and beyond Europe for up to 2 years (European Fellowships) or 3 years (Global Fellowships). As stated by the scheme guidance, ‘the goal of Individual Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers wishing to diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition at multi- or interdisciplinary level through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility’.

LAB SL was established in 2003 as a university research offshoot, with the aim of using the latest know-how to provide premium residue analysis for the needs of the agri-food sector.
LAB specialises in the area of fruit and vegetables both for the domestic and export market. One of LAB main strengths is a capacity to identify and quantify organic compounds at low and very low levels of concentration in all types of alimentary, environmental, and biological samples, including the identification of “unsought compounds”, such as metabolites and decomposition products.
The post-doctoral fellow is expected to conduct research within an experienced and well equipped research team in the LAB’s facilities in Almería (Spain), to develop and advanced technology in the fields of residue analysis for the needs of the agri-food sector. We are open to receive proposals in the fields (among others) of: food safety, food and environmental testing, laboratory automatization / robotics, gas and liquid chromatography, LIMS, and so on.
- The applicant must be an Experienced Researcher: s/he must be in possession of a doctoral degree at the deadline for the submission of proposals;
- The applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the deadline for sub mission of proposals;
- Please note that any applicant may submit only one proposal to the call for Marie Sklodowska Curie Individual Fellowships.
